Half Day Tour Fez shopping & handicraft
Tour description
You will explore the ancient medina and admire the three main components of the Arabic/Andalusian architecture: ceramic mosaic, the carving of the plaster and carving of the wood. You will gaze upon the minaret of the oldest university in the world that was built in 856 by Fatima.
While strolling slowly in the narrow alleyways and markets of the old city, you will discover the medieval Koranic schools that housed students who came to study in Fes during the medieval time: Madrasa Bou Inania or Madrasa Sherratine.
You will visit the oldest and biggest tannery in Morocco that is still functioning almost daily...
Other things to note
The duration of the tour is flexible as we can make it either shorter or longer depending on the traveler's demands. Also, busy traffic and weather conditions could affect the tour duration although it's rare here in Fes.
PS: We also have many different tours, including day trips to Chefchaouen, Makenes & Volubilis, and desert trips from overnight to multiple days. We also provide customized tours based on your interests and what you want to do while in Morocco.
If you're interested in any of these options, please contact me and I will provide you with more information!
