Evening walk through ancient Rome to Trastevere
Tour description
We start in the Testaccio district , a place known for its gastronomy. We will climb the Aventine Hill from where we will have one of the most famous views of the city. We then admire the Circo Massimo - the largest hippodrome ever built in Rome - and approach the mythical place where the founding twins of Rome were found. After visiting the Foro Boarium with its temples and the famous Bocca della Verità we approach the Isola Tiberina . From there we get to the lively Jewish quarter and stroll through the narrow streets with their palaces, churches and taverns to Campo dei Fiori. After visiting the Palazzo Farnese , seat of one of the most important families in Rome, we arrive at the Ponte Sisto , the entrance bridge to the lively district of Trastevere , where I leave you alone to enjoy the Roman night!
