Tour description

Xin Chao! I'm Nick, a guru from Hanoi.  My two grandfathers were veterans, both fought in the Vietnam war. I was born and raised around a lot of VETS and stories about the war.
The Tour includes:
1.  B-52 Victory Museum (apply on Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, and Sun) is located on Dien Bien Phu street. The museum covers the American B-52 campaign. In addition to numerous photos and remnants from the wars, the grounds are jam-packed with tanks, guns, and aircraft. It’s like a shoe shop for men.
2.  Hoa Lo Prison – nicknamed the “Hanoi Hilton”, the prison was used to house Vietnamese political prisoners, as well as French and American prisoners of war, and offers a fascinating and chilling glimpse of prison life.

I always love history, especially the Vietnam war and it would be a great chance if I can share it with you.

FIXED COST PER PERSON: 5USD or 120k vnd (the tour guide will cover the entrance fee first so this is only for the tickets and transportations, the amount you want to pay the guide depends on your satisfaction level)
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (this tour usually range from 300k to 500k vnd depending on satisfaction with the tour).

With just one other participant the tour felt very private and Stella gave us enough time for questions and talks in between. I loved the pace of the tour! Stella's selection of information gave a really good overview of Vietnam's history and felt so vivid with all the little details and extra storys she told us. I learned a lot of new stuff and felt quite enriched after the tour. Definitely recommended.

It ended up being just me on the tour so got a private one essentially. Travis was full of knowledge and shared so many stories about the history of the war.

Our guru was Stella and the tour with her was really great! We learned an incredible amount and she really was able to answer all our questions. Overall our expectations were exceeded and we would recommend the tour to anyone interested in history. We also received many more tips for our stay in Hanoi. Thank you Stella!
