Walled Barcelona + Historic Old Town: El Raval, the Gothic Quarter and Born
Hello! My name is Frederick. I am a lawyer and passionate about history, gastronomy and photography. I really like being outdoors -I have lived 5 years in Patagonia-. I love trekking, snowboarding, skiing and kitesurfing. I am a very sociable person who loves to meet new people from different countries and cultures.
Tour description
First of all, I want to tell you that the tour is limited to 14 people. I don't like mass tours, I think you don't learn in the same way and the interaction is totally different, for that reason I limited the tour to that number.
This tour is intended for those people who have only a few days to explore the city and are looking to make the most of every hour of walking.
Unlike most of the tours offered, we will join the neighborhoods of Raval, Gótico, Santa Caterina and Sant Pere. The meeting point will be at Plaça de la Universitat and we will begin the tour along the Ronda de Sant Antoni, to enter the mythical Raval neighborhood and, thus, begin the tour...
Points to visit:
1. Old Hospital of Santa Cruz
2. Old monastery of Sant Pau del camp
3. Portal of Santa Madrona and medieval wall
4. Columbus Monument
5. La Rambla
6. Royal Square
7. Basilica of Santa María del Pi
8. Bishop's Bridge
9. Santa Caterina Market
10. Palau de la Música
and others....
When organizing the tour I asked myself the following question: What places would I like to see if I were in Barcelona and only had about 3 hours?
I'm waiting for you to show you places and secrets of this city that I like so much and which I hope you will also fall in love with.
