Faan enriched my understanding of Buddhism and Thai history. Encouraged and helped us to participate in local custom. Good fun.

Our Tourguide was Amy, and she was lovely and entertaining. We learned a lot about local food and culture. Amy made sure we covered different dishes and spices we wouldn't have tried on our own. We also visited the whole sale fruit and vegetables market, which was fascinating. We would highly recommend the tour to everyone who wants to explore the local cuisine.

Wir hatten eine großartige Führung. Haben viel über die Geschichte und Kultur der Region erfahren und wunderbare Orte besucht. Wir würden die Führung mit Faan auf jeden Fall wieder buchen und empfehlen sie sehr gerne weiter.

Fascinating tour. Tour leader TJ enriched the experience greatly by providing not only the 'guidebook' version and the historic importance of what we were exploring/seeing, but also a variety of details from his personal knowledge, perspective, and experience.

The tour started at a well known site in Chiang Mai and let through multiple culturally valuable temples. All along the way we got fascinating information about the history of Chiang Mai, its temples, the origins and possible meanings of buddhism and overall Thailand as a country and a culture. Our guide had loads of delightful anecdotes to share and was all in all a funny and sympathetic guy. 10/10 recommendation!!

Pailin really was a wonderful guide on our tour today. We had already visited large parts of the city and the temples before, but Pailin provided so many new information and insights on historical, cultural and religious backgrounds throughout the tour that shed a completely different light on how we experienced the city. She also took so much time to answer any question we had and even bought some treats and snacks for us to try along the tour.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of taking a tour with Faan in Chiang Mai, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of my trip. Faan is an exceptional guide who brings Thai history, culture, and local traditions to life with genuine passion and depth. Throughout the tour, we explored some of Chiang Mai's most breathtaking temples. Faan didn't just show us the sights; he provided fascinating historical context and rich explanations about the architecture, beliefs, and daily cultural practices that make these places so sacred. What truly set this experience apart was Faan's thoughtfulness and personal touch. He went above and beyond to make sure I had wonderful memories captured on camera, snapping fantastic photos throughout the day. He also thoughtfully and respectfully guided me step-by-step on how to receive a traditional blessing from a local monk—a truly profound and authentic moment I will never forget. The entire tour was a perfect blend of fun, relaxation, and deep education. If you are visiting Chiang Mai and want an insightful, engaging, and deeply enriching experience, book a tour with Faan. You won't regret it!
