Free Walking Tour of The Hague

Welcome to my home town, The Hague! City of Dutch politics, peace, justice, the royal family, rock bands and the beautiful beach. It's a vibe. The rat race of civil servants, journalists, politicians and lobby groups all fighting for influence combines well with the serene calm in the parks and by the beach. I would like to tell you all the amazing stories of the political past and present in this beautiful city, as i'm also part of it myself. As a press officer for a government agency I can tell you first hand how the future of the Netherlands is constantly being shaped in The Hague. It has been that way for hundreds of years, going back to the absolute foundation of the city.

But The Hague is more than that. It's a very diverse place, where you can walk for hours surrounded by the finest restaurants, 'gezellige' bars and all kinds of shops. That's exactly what we'll do: Just discovering The Hague while talking and joking about the city, the country and the culture here. Meanwhile, I'll try to answer all your questions and protect you from the worst tourist traps ;)
