"Legnica with soul – a walk through history, Art Nouveau and greenery"
Guided tour of Legnica – Old Town, Tarninów and Park

The guided tour of the city covers three key points: the Old Town, the Tarninów district and the City Park. The walk begins in the Market Square – the heart of Legnica, where participants will learn about the history of the city dating back to the Middle Ages. The guide will talk about St. Peter and Paul's Cathedral, the Baroque House Under the Quail Basket and the ruins of the Piast castle – one of the oldest brick strongholds in Poland. We will discuss the role of the Kaczawa River in the development of the city.

The next stop is the Tarninów district – a true gem of Art Nouveau architecture. Participants will have the opportunity to see richly decorated tenement houses from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, former industrialists' villas and public buildings, such as the former royal gymnasium and the current courthouse. Tarninów is a district where the elite of old Legnica used to live, which can still be seen today in its elegant urban layout, wide avenues and preserved architectural details.

Finally, we will go to the Municipal Park – the green heart of Legnica, one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in the region. Its origins date back to the 19th century, when it was created on the basis of former military fortifications. During a walk through the park's alleys, participants will learn about the former zoo, amphitheatre, numerous natural monuments and modernist spatial designs. It is worth stopping by the picturesque pond, rose garden and restored sculptures.

Oprowadzanie po Legnicy – Stare Miasto, Tarninów i Park 

oprowadzanie po mieście – obejmuje trzy kluczowe punkty: Stare Miasto, dzielnicę Tarninów oraz Park Miejski. Spacer rozpoczynamy na Rynku – sercu Legnicy, gdzie uczestnicy poznają dzieje miasta sięgające średniowiecza. Przewodnik opowie o katedrze św. Piotra i Pawła, barokowym Domu Pod Przepiórczym Koszem oraz ruinach zamku piastowskiego – jednej z najstarszych murowanych warowni w Polsce. omawimy rolę rzeki Kaczawy w rozwoju miasta. 

Kolejnym przystankiem jest dzielnica Tarninów – prawdziwa perła secesyjnej architektury. Uczestnicy będą mieli okazję zobaczyć bogato zdobione kamienice z przełomu XIX i XX wieku, dawne wille przemysłowców oraz gmachy użyteczności publicznej, takie jak dawne gimnazjum królewskie czy obecna siedziba sądu. Tarninów to dzielnica, w której mieszkała elita dawnej Legnicy, co widać do dziś w eleganckim układzie urbanistycznym, szerokich alejach i zachowanych detalach architektonicznych. 

Na zakończenie udamy się do Parku Miejskiego – zielonego serca Legnicy, jednego z najstarszych i najpiękniejszych parków w regionie. Jego początki sięgają XIX wieku, kiedy to powstał na bazie dawnych umocnień wojskowych. W trakcie spaceru przez alejki parku uczestnicy dowiedzą się o dawnym ZOO, amfiteatrze, licznych pomnikach przyrody oraz modernistycznych założeniach przestrzennych. Warto zatrzymać się przy malowniczym stawie, ogrodzie różanym oraz odrestaurowanych rzeźbach
