Free walking tours in Chiang Mai

We are a couple in our honeymoon, and this was our 2nd day in Thailand. Had a great time with T.J! A small and intimate group of 5, we visited multiple temples, and sat in them talking about Thai history and Budhism. Really enjoyed how the talks were in the temples sitting down, rather than standing outside in the sun. Bring shoes that are easy to take on and off for entering the temples. Overall highly recommend! Thanks TJ

Tui es un crack! Estuvimos solos con el en la excursión y nos contó todo sobre Tailandia y todas las preguntas que teníamos. La excursión es por zonas no turísticas y poco comunes enseñándonos “Old Chaing Mai”. Si os gusta montar en bici y la historia os gustará el tour

Abbiamo fatto un bellissimo giro tra i templi del centro Città e Jakkrit ci ha fatto passare un pomeriggio molto bello e interessante, lo consigliamo!!

Una experiencia muy bonita de manos de una guía local. Muy simpática y amable, con buen nivel de ingles. Además, se preocupó de explicarnos en el poco castellano que habia aprendido algunas de las cuestiones a mi pareja y a mí, cada vez que veia que perdiamos el hilo. No es un tour de templos, sino de rincones de Chiang Mai (donde también se incluyen estos) para ayudarte a entender su historia y costumbres. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

We went on the bicycle tour as a famiky (2 adukts, 2 teenagers) and were very pleasantly surpised. San is a very pleasant guide, his tour is really great, with visiting several temples, points of interest in the cjty and some markets. He explained different aspects of Thai history, buddhism, day to day life in Chiang Mai and he patiently answered all our questions. Totally recmmended to go on the tour, if you like small group and a less standard way of touring. Thanks San!

Tui and the tour were amazing! Everything was really good, with a lot of information and fun. The guide shows you places outside the classic tours in Chiang Mai and the bike allows you to travel a lot. And Tui is really super ✨️

Pailin is very knowledgeable and makes efforts to ensure all in the group are able to understand and appreciate the beauty of Chiang Mai. She remembers things about each person and brings it back at different points making the walk very interesting. Telling lesser known things about the life of people and the city makes her standout. Highly recommended.

Loved the tour with Jakkrit (TJ). He had a lot of information about Buddhism, the history of Chiang Mai, and the various temples we visited. Love that he included a stop for coffee along the way! He keeps groups to under 5 people which is really quaint. It was a very casual vibe where we got to ask questions to guide the conversation along the way and it wasn’t just him talking at us the whole time! Visited all the main historic Chiang Mai locations and was a great start to my stay in Chiang Mai.

Pailin was great and gave us a looot of information (which is exactly the kind of tours I like) about Chiang Mai and Thailand. Pailin is an interesting person and quite passionate about the tour. Only small problem for me was that her accent was hard for me to understand, so I couldn't get some of the things she was saying. Overall, I would recommend - thanks Pailin!

We thought Pailin was excellent and we learned a lot about Chiang Mai and history and culture of Thailand and Buddhism more generally. She was very kind and allowed us to sample nice street food too which we wouldn't have done otherwise.

Muy buena guía! Casi 4 horas de tour con parada a tomar café en un sito muy bueno. Tambien te da a probar snacks típicos por el camino. Ademas esta aprendiendo español para hacer tours en el futuro! Totalmente recomendable para conocer Chiang Mai.

Pailin was very knowledgeable about the places we’ve visited. I learned quite a bit about Chiang Mai in this tour. She managed to squeeze in four temples when normally, she said she mostly does three.

Pailin me sorprendió por su energía. Sus conocimientos de historia eran elevados y al tratarse de su región natal, lo contaba todo con especial pasión. A veces me costaba comprender bien su inglés porque hablaba un poco rápido para mi. El tour se alargó hasta 4 horas y siempre fue muy atenta y respondió a nuestras preguntas. Recomendable
