Free walking tours in George Town

We were having a really great time together and spend more then 4h with JS. He is speaking a very good English and get's never tired of answering questions. We were getting impressions of really nearly every area within the heritage center. At the end he took us to 2 further spots to get good street food and Cendol additionally. Highly recommended tour!

Tolle Tour! Sehr unterhaltsam und informativ. Man bekommt auch Kopfhörer, so dass man wirklich alles von der Führung mitbekommt. Ein Highlight waren die Samosas und der Iced Tea.

I joined Uncle Eskay’s walking tour in Penang and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was outstanding. He was not only knowledgeable, but genuinely funny and entertaining throughout the walk. What made the experience stand out was how he went beyond the typical tourist routes. He took us down off-the-beaten-path streets I would never have discovered on my own, and every stop came with a story that brought the place to life. He’s a natural storyteller and knows how to keep people engaged. He also made sure everyone was comfortable. Along the way, he provided free snacks and cold drinks, which was a thoughtful touch given the heat. We were also given headsets, so we could clearly hear him at all times, even when the group spread out. Overall, he was highly professional, very informative, and clearly passionate about what he does. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Penang.

Erina is very professional, and cares deeply about providing an excellent tour for everyone. She is open to questions and offers insight into the culture as a local. Using the microphone/headset made the tour even better, allowing everyone to have space while hearing everything that was being said.

Irina nos explicó muchas cosas muy interesantes de Georgetown y Malasia, además respondió muy amablemente a todas nuestras preguntas. Muy recomendable si quieres aprender más historia y cultura, no es tanto de visitar monumentos.

A lovely walk around Georgetown with a focus on history and how it has become a UNESCO site. Highlights for me included trying local treats such as nutmeg juice and a delicious calamansi like ice cream. Erina was a great tour guide, full of information and history facts. If you love history and getting to know a place you will love this tour!

Vincent is a very good guide, informative, Entertaining and educating. Just what I wish of a guided tour. He even showed us how to pray propperly in a Tao temple and gave us so many helpful Tipps for our further travels in Malaysia

Vincent hat uns einen sehr guten Überblick über die Geschichte und Religion der Region gegeben. Als Einheimischer wusste er sehr gut Bescheid. da die Tour ab 16 Uhr stattfand und es über 32 Grad warm war und wir stets draußen waren gab es keine Abkühlmöglichkeiten. Eine Vormittagstour wäre besser gewesen. Auch hätte ich gerne das eine oder andere Clan Haus von Innen gesehen. Insgesamt eine schöne Tour wenn auch ermüdend.

It was a really nice tour. We saw a lot of (hidden) places in Penang. Eskay was really kind and explained us a lot about the city. The samosas and the iced milk tea were a nice touch.
