🚲 LITTLE YUGOSLAVIA: A Bike Ride Through Tito’s Communist Ljubljana on the Legendary Rog bike

Primoz was an amazing guide, who was really invested to provide the best and most immersive experience for his guests. He proivded nice bicycles and it was a lot of fun to drive around town with him. The tour was really informative and Primoz even told about his personal experiences growing up in the neighborhoods that he had shown.

🚲 LITTLE YUGOSLAVIA: A Bike Ride Through Tito’s Communist Ljubljana on the Legendary Rog bike

Loved the tour for the chance to get away from the city centre, and visit places people actually live. So much history is NOT in the town centre. Extremely well paced with lots of relaxed cycling and heaps of stops where little, but very interesting or important things were pointed out, that we would never have thought to look at twice without knowing the story behind it. 100% recommend.

Really enjoyed this tour; the opportunity to learn while also biking to different parts of the city was wonderful, and I appreciated Primož's expansive knowledge and insight.

🚲 LITTLE YUGOSLAVIA: A Bike Ride Through Tito’s Communist Ljubljana on the Legendary Rog bike

This tour is very different from most tours, which focus on the tourist center. We visited the neighborhoods where the people of Ljubljana actually live and heard about the Yugoslav era, all while riding traditional bicycles. Our guide, Primoz, was great! Not only is he knowledgeable about the subject, but he also lived in the areas we visited. It was a really cool experience, I highly recommend it!

🚲 LITTLE YUGOSLAVIA: A Bike Ride Through Tito’s Communist Ljubljana on the Legendary Rog bike

I had a private bike tour due to weather conditions I guess. I had a blast. The guide was willing to answer all my questions, his energy was very positive. The personal stories from the neighbourhood gave a totally different perspective to the whole experience. Very careful biker, attentive to whether you are ok. I would definitely recommend it guys!

Bike tour with Primoz was truly a unique experience! He took us places, which I wouldn’t discover by myself for sure. He has a huge knowledge about Ljubljana and local people and because he grew up in Ljubljana his stories are authentic and truly unique - the ones that you can’t find in a book or on the website. Primoz is very friendly, cheerful and funny and that makes his tours very positive experience, which feels like being showed around by a friend. It was my second tour with Primoz (I was on Ljubljana by Night). I truly recommend to choose both these tours! You will see and learn a lot and spend time in a nice company :)

It was nice to see the outer border of Ljubljana and not just the city center. And it was special to raid the old bicycles, and he told us a lot of new Information.

It was an extraordinary 'walking' tour as it was actually 'riding' tour. It took around 2 hours and the route was flat without any hills. Stops were frequent and interesting. From busy city centre to calm neighbourhoods showing the residues of life in Tito's or socialist Yugoslavia. As I have had already seen the main city attractions before, it was wonderful to see how normal life in this small capital goes on. Also interesting to compare with my own experience from post-socialist central european country.

Primoz was a great guide, always eager to explain every detail and corner of Ljubljana. He made us try Yugoslavian drinks and foods from his childhood as well. Overall, great tour to get to know all of Ljubljana.

Wow what a tour!😆 Primož is a treasure of knowledge and it is a blast to listen to his storytelling that is interwoven with his childhood experiences. This tour was the most unique experience and the old ex-yugo bike add an immersive element to the tour. Primož also prepared a few thematic surprises on the way, so you are in for a treat!

🚲 LITTLE YUGOSLAVIA: A Bike Ride Through Tito’s Communist Ljubljana on the Legendary Rog bike

amaaazing! actually the best free tour we ever did. very enriching and a lot of fun. Primoz showed us a side of ljubliana that we would not have seen otherwise, not the usual touristic spots but the neigborhoods where he grew up in with their socialistic origins. we moved through the city with the original jugoslavian bikes from the 70s which made it really special! on top of that me and my friend were the only 2 people so we kind of got a private tour which was fun. inbetween we took a break were Primoz kindly bought us a drink from the supermarket which already existed in jugoslavia and later on an icecream from his childhood. the tour felt very special and was definitely and unexpectetly the highlight of our trip to ljubliana! so we can wholeheartetly recommend it! :) thank you Primoz and best regards!

The Little Yugoslavia tour with Primož was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, he made everyone feel welcome and engaged with his friendly personality and deep knowledge of the history and culture of the former Yugoslavia. His storytelling brought the past to life — blending fascinating facts, personal anecdotes, and a great sense of humor. We visited places I would have never found on my own, each with its own unique story and charm. It was clear how passionate Primož is about sharing this history, and that passion made the experience truly memorable. I left the tour feeling inspired, informed, and with a much deeper appreciation for Ljubljana’s diverse heritage. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the city!
