If you want to lose yourself in some local history and legends in the hands of an entertaining and passionate storyteller, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, then this is the right tour for you.

I highly recommend experiencing the tour with Giorgos! He's super fun and his tour contains all of the hidden and underrated, but unique places and informations. He cares about his passangeres - we had places to sit, to refill our watterbottles, he talked to each and every of us and he even played buzuki for us 🪕🪕🪕 Over all, Giorgos is super nice and funny person :)) (For non confident english speakers - his speech is really easy to understand!)

The best guide we have ever experienced! We were there in June and I still want to write this review for this beautiful tour. Giorgos is very friendly, patient and very likeable. He is not only knowledgeable but also knows how to tell a story and how to convey important facts and the rich history of Thessaloniki and Ano Poli. He is very professional and at the same time very easy going and natural. Even after so many years of experience as a tour guide, he made us feel that we were a special group that day, not one of many. We felt that we had a special privilege to get to know Ano Poli, the upper town, through his eyes. He grew up there and you can feel that from the very first minute. There is a lot of heart and honesty in this tour, which we enjoyed so much. Giorgos also shows interest in you as a person when you start talking to him. Ana Poli itself is beautiful and has its own soul and atmosphere that is so different from the city center. Thank you Giorgios, you touched our hearts and we hope we can repeat the tour with you! Best regards, the Argentinian couple from Germany Marggie and Camilo ;)

Giorgos is highly intelligent, sensitive and amusing. He remembered about 30 names of the participants during the tour. He passed on so much information. He entertained us with his music. He loves his city and its people and especially the Upper Town. Lots of locals greeted him by name. He gave us 3 hours of his time. He was honest about the history. 10 out of 10!

It was one of the best walking tours I joined. We had a group of 25 people and Giorgos remembered everyone's names. He also played music for us. And that's besides talking about interesting facts with an engaging delivery. Highly recommend.

I’ve done tours with Guides in many cities in Europe and this one with Giorgos was definitely one of the best. Giorgos has the knack of telling great stories and bringing the history alive. He had all 20 of us on his tour totally engaged - well done Giorgos, you deserve a 10/10 gold star. The music was an added bonus & truly incredible.
