I started a route 5 years ago that took me to Panama, then to New York and now in Buenos Aires. Engineer, but the passion for coffee led me to be at the bar, as Barista knew the traceability of the product, I trained in the area, and the experience serving this magical drink in different cities, motivated me to promote the coffee culture. My goal is with my experience as a consumer and producer of the drink, cultivate in you, the passion for coffee.
Look for you to explore specialty coffee shops, which differ in their style, origin of coffee, toaster and even their machinery. We will walk (1km) a planned route for 2.5 hours, where we can compare flavors, textures and aromas at each stop. We will start in a first coffee shop, which is a toaster and we will talk about the origin of the coffee and its roasting. Then we will visit a coffee shop that is a pioneer in coffee preparation methods and we will talk directly with the protagonists, performing a sensory analysis (tasting), for this case based on the filtered coffee methods, and finally the basis of preparation with espresso and how to make a latte art, with live demonstration. The goal is to get involved in the world of coffee, exploring all stages of the drink, from the bean to the final cup.
I'll be at the corner of Plaza Armenia, Costa Rica's intersection with Armenia street
