Highly recommend doing the tour with Pailin! She was very informative, considerate & caring (we had a 5yr old and she was quite friendly towards him). Also the only walking tour where the guide bought snacks for everyone :-)

TJ was excellent, very helpful when we had to cut the tour short because we weren't feeling well. He has lots of information and history to share.

Such an interesting food tour! Enjoyed the different foods we tried at the first market and was very interesting to visit the second fresh food market and see where restaurants get their food from! This awas a well paced and thought out tour and Amy was very kind, engaging and patient! Would really recommend :)

The walk with Faan was really great, he’s so nice and I’ve learned a lot from him. It was also a great route and he provided umbrella’s for the heat and water, really amazing, I really enjoyed and recommend!

Palin is sweet and brings good energy. She gave a lot of information about thai culture but not specific about what we were looking at and some of the long stops felt drawn out with some needless information.

We greatly enjoyed our tour with Pailin and learnt lots about Buddhism, well as Lanna culture. We had already visited some temples prior to the tour, but going with Pailin gave us an understanding of what we were actually looking at which gave us a much better appreciation of the culture.

Our Tourguide was Amy, and she was lovely and entertaining. We learned a lot about local food and culture. Amy made sure we covered different dishes and spices we wouldn't have tried on our own. We also visited the whole sale fruit and vegetables market, which was fascinating. We would highly recommend the tour to everyone who wants to explore the local cuisine.

Fascinating tour. Tour leader TJ enriched the experience greatly by providing not only the 'guidebook' version and the historic importance of what we were exploring/seeing, but also a variety of details from his personal knowledge, perspective, and experience.

The tour started at a well known site in Chiang Mai and let through multiple culturally valuable temples. All along the way we got fascinating information about the history of Chiang Mai, its temples, the origins and possible meanings of buddhism and overall Thailand as a country and a culture. Our guide had loads of delightful anecdotes to share and was all in all a funny and sympathetic guy. 10/10 recommendation!!
