Fernando was Amazing he showed up on time ; helped us by getting a quick snack before the tour (we forgot pesos ) and his history knowledge and his knowledge of everything he knew about Mérida and how he was detailed oriented and very explanatory made this tour so special. We were a bit short on time but he made sure he tell us everything about every place we passed by; we are definitely coming back again to Mérida and hopefully we get to enjoy all the places he shared with us. Thank you Fernando for this amazing experience and your great sense of humor.

Gabriel is the best tour guide in Mérida! He shares fascinating stories and interesting details while giving you a truly local perspective of the city. As a native Maya, he even teaches you a few Maya words, and hearing the language spoken by a native speaker is an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour!

Would recommend to anyone visiting Merida and wants to see a side of local culture! Lulu and Willi took us to a diverse range of different types of cantinas, they explained the history of them as well as information about Merida, differences between Mezcal and Tequila, the plates of food in the cantina were delicious. It felt like we were chatting with friends rather than on a 'tour'. Willi is an amazing salsa dancer and taught us a few moves too. Thanks for a fun afternoon! (Just a note that the email from Guru walk that came through didn't have the correct meeting point for us, but it was only a couple of mins away but maybe check before you arrive where the meeting point is to avoid any confusion :) )

Excelente walking tour por Mérida con Gabriel. Sus explicaciones fueron súper claras, interesantes y además muy divertidas, hizo que todo el recorrido se sintiera dinámico y nada pesado. La ruta estuvo muy bien pensada y nos permitió conocer muchísimo de la historia y cultura de la ciudad. Se nota la pasión y el conocimiento que tiene. Definitivamente volvería a tomar otro tour con él y lo recomiendo muchísimo a cualquiera que visite Mérida.

This is the best way to get the Merida party vibes whilst learning some dance moves. No experience required indeed, lots of fun, with patient and cool instructors. I really recommend it!
