Tour description

We will meet at King Tomislav Square in the evening hours, proceed to Nikola  Zrinjski Square, and continue to Ban Jelačić main square. You will find out everything about local history, art, culture, and architecture.
We will visit Zagreb Chatedral and old Zagreb Kaptol which is a body within the Zagreb Archdiocese. You will get to know the beautiful open-air market Dolac and Opatovina from which we will move on to Gradec, an old part of the city of Zagreb on the slope of Medvednica, from which, together with Kaptol, today's Zagreb originated. You will see Kamenita Vrata, a port and one of the best-preserved monuments of old Zagreb. It is a building shaped like a rectangular tower, from which we will reach the Old Town Zagreb.
Apart from the City Council, Parliament, and Museum of Broken Relationship, you will see astonishing monuments, churches, and historical buildings that are located on St Marks Square.
Lookout Gradec is the next destination then continuing via Strossmayer walk to the Zagreb viewpoint beneath ancient Tower Lotršćak where you can take exclusive photos of Zagreb at night. Following the line of Zagreb funicular we will reach the longest street in Zagreb, Ilica Street, Zagreb Octogone, and at the end Flower Square where Zagreb youth hang out at pubs in the nighttime.

I am open to all your questions, and together we will experience beautiful Zagreb.

De gids vertelde veel over de interessante geschiedenis van Kroatië. Geen flauwe grappen of overbodige informatie, gewoon to the point. Hij was voor mij(als niet Engelstalige) in eerste instantie wat lastig te verstaan door zijn accent maar dat wende snel. Fijne tour gehad.

We enjoyed our introduction to Zagreb very much. Domagoj was an interesting and informative guide who was happy to answer questions and gave us a locals perspective on the city. It was just the right length of time as well.
