We'll start the night at a popular barbecue spot, one of those lively street venues where Xi'an locals sit on plastic stools, clink their beer bottles, and share hot skewers late into the night. This creates the perfect informal and authentic atmosphere for the evening.

Next, we'll head to a restaurant serving Xi'an's must-try specialties: those iconic dishes that, as the locals say, "if you haven't tried them, you haven't been to Xi'an." Think of rich and flavorful dishes that define the city's culinary culture and are cherished by generations.

2. Stroll Along the Bright City Wall and Cultural Street

Our route takes us alongside the Xi'an City Wall, beautifully illuminated at night: an impressive sight that captures the city's history with a modern touch. From there, we'll stroll through Shuyuanmen Street, famous for its traditional Chinese cultural atmosphere, filled with shops selling calligraphy, antiques, and Chinese paintings.

3. Live Music by the City Wall
Along the way, we'll stop at a public square near the wall, where locals gather to enjoy free outdoor concerts. Some nights, local bands perform here, filling the air with music and energy. No need to understand the lyrics; just clap, move, and enjoy the atmosphere like everyone else.

4. Xi'an-Style Bars
To end the night, we'll dive into an authentic Xi'an-style bar hopping experience. These bars are not like those you'll find abroad: they convey the city's unique local spirit. You'll taste regional specialties like Shaanxi-style wine. During the tour, we'll participate in traditional Chinese drinking games and experience the lively community atmosphere that defines nightlife in China. It's more than just bar hopping: it's an immersion into Xi'an's culture at nightfall.

By the end of the tour, you'll have eaten, walked, listened, and drunk through the true nightlife of Xi'an, with its brilliant history, lively streets, live music, and hidden bars that most travelers never discover.

1. Cost of Food and Drink:
The barbecue at the night market and drinks at the bars are self-funded: pay as you go! Typically, for food, a total of 60 RMB per person is sufficient. For the bar, a total of 180 RMB per person is enough for the whole night.

The tour will last about 4 to 5 hours, and we'll experience the authentic nightlife of Xi'an, from local street food to drinks. It's a free tour, but if you really enjoyed the night, payments are always welcome and much appreciated. :)
