Jakarta Food Tour

Kenya war super informiert und hat mit uns sowohl an Street Food Ständen als auch in einem Restaurant mit Spezialitäten aus Sumatra gegessen. Sie war sehr gut organisiert und hat uns immer Sachen empfohlen aber auch gefragt m, ob wir was anderes wollen. Die Tour war super spannend, hat sogar auch etwas länger gedauert als geplant, was aber cool war, denn der Vibe der Gruppe hat einfach gepasst. Wir hatten viel Spaß und haben uns durch die Street Food Szene Jakartas gefuttert.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food tour with Kenya! She's very laidback and fun to be around, but gives you lots of information every time you ask her and she took us to great food spots. We only stopped because we were so full already! I highly recommend taking the tour with Kenya!

Our tour with Kenya was fantastic! We got an authentic experience of Jakarta’s signature street food by night, eating at local spots that we never would have been brave enough to visit on our own. Within the duration of the tour we were able to sample at least fifteen different dishes. We also had a great time talking to and getting to know our fellow tour members. The cherry on top was getting to make our own desserts at a little roadside stall — what an unforgettable experience! Kenya’s depth of knowledge, her laid back attitude, but especially her genuine warmth and friendliness made this tour a truly incredible one. We will definitely take another tour with her the next time we’re in Jakarta. Highly recommended experience!

Kenya is amazing. She can tell you a lot about the different dishes and, although it rained for a bit, the tour was a full success 😊 We love it ❤️

More than i expected, Jarr Is a very smart guy!

We had a really great time with Kenya who kindly showed some of the typical street food in Indonesia. The food was great and we visited a wide range of places. Additionally, Kenya took into account our personal tastes so the experience was as enjoyable as possible.

Fajz is knowledgeably and friendly. We were with a small group and had a great time with him and his co-guide. I recommend the street food tour if you want to experience various interesting (mostly meat) flavors and don’t know where to start. The tour feels like hanging out with friends, thank you Fajz!

Kenya is very sweet and she knows a lot about Indonesian food. She told us a lot about the food we were eating and helped us try it with different garnishes, which was very interesting. She also answered a lot of other questions about Indonesia. She was very helpful. She also had great reccomandations for breakfast the next morning!

Es muy maja y agradable, se esfuerza en que entiendas lo máximo posible si tú inglés no es muy bueno. Fue muy puntual y estuvo 4 horas con nosotras. Nos llevo a diferentes sitios y probamos variedad de platos. Muy recomendable

Fajar was so fun and entertaining. He brought us to eat amazing street food, explaining where all the dishes came from. It was the perfect opportunity to see Jakarta through a local’s eyes. Highly reccomend.

Kenya was great and took us to some really cool places. All the food was delicious as well. It didn’t feel like a tour which was nice more her taking us to places she liked and enjoyed. There was no rush and plenty of time to enjoy each place as the group liked

Kenya is incredible, she takes you to taste new flavors and explains everything perfectly. She’s also very fun and chaming. You will learn and enjoy with her for sure.

Kenya was very flexible. She was willing to alter the route based on the group's interests and she had plenty of options to choose from. She was also very knowledgeable on how the different foods were made and their ingredients. Highly recommended.

What a lovely tour and a lovely guide! No better way than this to get to know the Jakarta food street scene. Kenya adjusted the itinerary and food spots to the food we like (and what we don’t eat) and we had a great time together. She was so knowledgeable and you can tell she enjoys the tour and the food herself too. I would totally recommend this tour if you find yourself in Jakarta 😊

We started the tour with Kenya in a large mall which was very easy to find👍. We had some nice sweet treats to kick things off before we went out to a night market for a delicious variety of sates. We had another course in a restaurant where we ate with our hands like the locals. We finished again in the night market where we made our own deserts. Kenya had a lot of nice information throughout, explaining about the different Indonesian cultures where the food came from, and some interesting history about the town itself. Definitely recommended!🥰
