Magical towns of Lake Atitlan.
Tour description
A hike around Lake Atitlan. The lake is a marvel for its views, nature, and culture. Each village has its own history, origins, and artistic expression. Their culture is not the same as a Tzutuhil village or a Kakchiquel village.
Lake Atitlan is the sacred lake of the Maya and is well worth exploring, understanding, and discovering its cultural and natural origins. Experience the full immersion in its markets, churches, ceremonial centers, and artistic expressions.
We will take our boat from Panajachel to San Juan and San Pedro La Laguna.
We'll explore viewpoints, culture, the production of natural dyes, the chocolate process, and magical, decorated streets.
You can walk from San Juan to San Pedro or you can take a tuk tuk.
Note
This tour has additional expenses such as Tuk Tuk for 3 dollars per person.
And a fixed cost of $8 per person for a public boat ride, round trip.
