Tour description

A hike around Lake Atitlan. The lake is a marvel for its views, nature, and culture. Each village has its own history, origin, and artistic expression. Their culture is not the same as a Tzutuhil village or a Kakchiquel village.
Discover the true history of Maximon and the Atziquinajay people of Santiago Atitlan, today's Santiago Atitlan, their costumes and traditions.
Lake Atitlan is the sacred lake of the Maya and is well worth exploring, understanding, and discovering its cultural and natural origins. Experience the full immersion in its markets, churches, ceremonial centers, and artistic expressions.

Note
This tour may have additional expenses such as Tuk Tuk for 3 dollars per person.
And a fixed cost of $8 per person for a round-trip public boat ride.
