Magical towns of Lake Atitlan.
Tour description
A walk around Lake Atitlan. The lake is a marvel for its views, nature, and culture. Each town has its own history, origin, artistic expression, and culture; a Tzutuhil town is not the same as a Kakchiquel town.
Lake Atitlan is the sacred lake of the Mayans and is worth knowing, understanding, and discovering its cultural and natural origins. A total immersion in the markets, churches, ceremonial centers, and artistic expressions.
We will take our boat from Panajachel, which will take us to San Juan and San Pedro La Laguna.
We will explore viewpoints, culture, the production of natural dyes, the chocolate-making process, and decorated and magical streets.
You can walk from San Juan to San Pedro or take a tuk-tuk.
Note
This tour has additional expenses such as a Tuk Tuk for 3 dollars per person.
And a fixed cost for the public boat of 8 dollars per person. Round trip.
