Magical towns of Lake Atitlan.
Tour description
A hike around Lake Atitlan. The lake is a marvel for its views, nature, and culture. Each village has its own history, origin, and artistic expression. Their culture is not the same as a Tzutuhil village or a Kakchiquel village.
Lake Atitlan is the sacred lake of the Maya and is well worth exploring, understanding, and discovering its cultural and natural origins. Experience the full immersion in its markets, churches, ceremonial centers, and artistic expressions.
The hike can be from Santa Cruz to Jaibalito, offering wonderful views of the lake, and then a boat ride to San Juan La Laguna, visiting the attractions. Returning to Panajachel.
Note
This tour may have additional expenses such as Tuk Tuk for 3 dollars per person.
