Free walking tours in Fortaleza

Julia gave us a wonderful historic overview of the city of Fortaleza and the state of Ceará. She guided us through all the major sights and did so impressively in three languages. We had a great time and would highly recommend taking her tour!

Although José had to cancel the guided walk as there were not enough people, he was very apologetic and provided me with a list of places to see and tips about food and drink, exhibitions ect... With this information I was able to do a city walk of my own albeit without his expert knowledge. Thank you José for the information, I really appreciated it 😀

Making a tour with Jose was a huge pleasure. He is an upmost professional who managed to keep us interested and active for more than 3 hours. Since he's a native from Fortaleza, it was even more interesting as he gave us some tips and anecdotes that we would have never got otherwise. I would recommend 100%. Muito obrigado!

I did this really interesting and funny tour with a group of Brazilians in Portuguese, but our guide José speaks perfectly English and was always aware to translate or speak slowly to make me understand. He was very welcoming and sympathetic and gave a lot of historical, architectural, personal and behind-the-scenes information about Fortaleza! A must do to see the city like a local and enjoy beautiful places! I really enjoyed 3-4 interesting hours :)

Jose, our tour guide was great! He is friendly and patience and considerate! though we are only 2 for the tour he decided to take up! And it was a fantastic tour giving us much information about the city. I absolutely recommend him to take this tour to know more about the city!
