We are a young team that left Spain in 2009 and we are in London to create this beautiful project. At the request of our "walkers" we grew up in Paris, Dublin, Berlin, Malaga, Cordoba and Budapest, teaching these cities to thousands of Spanish speakers. We are professional guides and we are madly in love with every corner of the cities we teach.
Visit the Castles of Cádiz! On this tour of the Caleta, the Castles and Bastions of Cádiz, we will follow the layout of its old defenses and we will visit the outskirts of the city.
Starting at Plaza España, you will learn about its importance and that of the monument to the Constitution of 1812. We will walk towards the walls of San Carlos and discover the history and origin of the Cadiz wall.
We will visit the Castle of Santa Catalina , and we will visit the exterior walls of the Castle of San Sebastián , famous for several films shot in Cádiz, one of them Captain Alatriste. Today, the Cádiz Lighthouse is located at the foot of the Muslim watchtower, a unique building in Spain.
The fortifications of Cádiz are more than 4 kilometers long, and we will remember the disappeared Castillo de la Villa and La Puerta de Terra .
We explain why Cádiz wants its walls to be a World Heritage Site.
Our walk will continue through the Alameda Apodaca , a fantastic garden by the sea, it will take us to the Contemporary Creative Space (ECCO) and to the Genovés Park , the most beautiful botanical garden in the city.
We will finish at the castle of Cádiz and the castle on the beach of Caleta , where the old thermal baths of La Palma are preserved (now the Andalusian Center for Underwater Archeology), where you can admire one of the most beautiful photos of Cádiz.
