Not just because she knows every hidden alley, every scandalous historical tidbit, and the best places to dodge tourist traps, but because she somehow managed to keep our disaster of a group on track. She guided us through the city with patience, humor, and the kind of storytelling skills that made us forget we were actually learning things. She even survived Christian’s enthusiastic attempt at expressing gratitude, proving she is truly dedicated to her job. And let’s not forget Maarten, who took “immersing in local culture” to a whole new level by pole dancing in a motorcycle bar—while rocking a pink shirt like a true fashion icon. Through it all, Alexandra stayed professional, which is more than we can say for ourselves. If you want a tour that’s equal parts informative, entertaining, and slightly chaotic (depending on your group’s level of mischief), Alexandra is your guide. Just be warned—she might never fully recover from our visit. 11/10, would traumatize her again!
