In these free walking tour, I will describe you the history and importance of Venice. I will also tell you the useful information about the city, and describe you the map of Venice not only in historic terms but also in current scenario. During our visit we will go through following places: 1) St. Mark’s Basilica, a jewel of Byzantine architecture. I’ll make sure that we visit this place in detail and know the history. We will admire it from the outside -the domes, the ornate arches, the pillars. And then, go inside to admire the mosaics -over 8,000 square meters of them 2) Doge’s place. For centuries this was the center of political life in the Sereneness. Not only worth admiring from the outside, but definitely worth visiting, especially if you’d like to learn more about the history of Venice. 3) Ca d’Oro- an exquisite example of Gothic architecture We might visit some of the islands, and also some famous churches if you are interested in. At the end i can advise best places to eat and to stay.
