Hi, I’m Teona (Teko) — your local Tbilisi tour guide and the heart behind Views Georgia Tours. I’ve been showing travelers around my city since I was 18, and to this day, nothing makes me happier than watching people fall in love with Georgia — the way I see it. I’m a history enthusiast with a slightly bitter sense of humor, and I love telling stories that bring old Tbilisi to life. My goal isn’t just to show you the sights — it’s to help you feel this city: its chaos, warmth, and soul. With me, you’ll wander through cobbled streets, meet locals, taste authentic Georgian flavors, and hear stories that don’t make it into guidebooks. In Georgia, we say “A guest is sent by God” — and I truly believe that. You’re not just a visitor here; you’re my guest, and I’ll make sure you experience the real Georgian hospitality. ✨ Fun fact: I started guiding just for fun at 18, showing my friends around Tbilisi… and somehow, it turned into my full-time passion. 💬 Favorite part of my job: When guests tell me that Georgia felt like home — that’s when I know I did my job right. And if I’m ever not available, don’t worry — one of my amazing colleagues will take great care of you. We all share the same passion for showing the real Georgia. So, if you’re ready to see Tbilisi through a local’s eyes (and enjoy a few sarcastic jokes along the way), I’ll be waiting for you with a smile and a story.

Tour description

Welcome to Georgia, a land where the Jewish community has flourished for over 26 centuries without enduring persecution. Jewish settlers found sanctuary here and integrated seamlessly into Georgian society in a remarkable testament to harmony and coexistence. Throughout the ages, they've preserved their distinct culture and faith, embraced as cherished members of the Georgian family.

Join us on a captivating walking tour as we delve into this extraordinary history chapter. Our journey begins at the David Baazov Georgian-Jewish Friendship Museum, symbolizing the enduring bond between the two communities. Strolling down Leselidze Street, once bustling with Jewish life, we'll uncover the vibrant stories of resilience and solidarity.

Our exploration continues as we visit two synagogues, each a testament to the enduring spirit of Georgian Jewry. Prepare to be enthralled as we unravel the rich tapestry of Georgian-Jewish heritage, a testament to the enduring power of unity and acceptance.
