We had a wonderful experience on our free walking tour with Lloyd in Cebu City. It ended up being just the three of us, which made the tour feel incredibly personal, extensive, and perfectly tailored to our interests. Better than expected! I’m a vivid traveler and have had Guruwalk for a few years already, Lui went above and beyond explaining to us important events during the formation of the Philippines, it was not my first time taking a tour in Cebu but he definitely filled those gaps for my batter understanding!

Hazel was so kind and funny, genuinely interested in her guests and making the experience great for everyone. We have done many food tours around Asia and I would say this one was unique. You might not do lots and lots of stops like in other food tours but I think this one shows more about the history and culture of the Philippines which we really liked so come open minded. Hazel is happy to answer any questions and very knowledgeable about all things Philippines. I would recommend to anyone coming to Cebu. p.s when you have to choose, choose the authentic restaurant option!

Chris was a great guru, he was very organised, professional and knew his stuff! The tour was a great insight into the history of the Phillipines and Cebu, I think it’s worth anyone doing early on in their trip to understand the country more. Would highly recommend and excellent value for money. P.s do follow the dress code so you can enter the religious site.

we had a tour with 2 people only. Hazel was very nice, very open for individual wishes, and flexible. And of course, according to it being a food tour, nice places with good and diverse food

Lou was very well informed, passionated for his job and very kind person. We really enjoyed the tour. He took the time to answer all our questions, we tried some sticky rice in the market with him, rode a jeepsey, and visited one museum, besides visiting other relevant spots in the city. We recommend the tour to people, we understood much better the society and the evolution of the country afterwards. Thank you Lou!

Very nice itinerary including many suggestions and places to visit while being in Philippines. Chris as a good sense of humour and shares many historical facts in a pleasant way. It was a nice walk all together. 🤗

Our guide went above an beyond to let us know about celebrations for new lunar year and came to chat and explain further even after the tour ended! He gave us idea to visit the Taoist centre in new lunar year's day and told us how to get there. He took some selfies with the group and sent them to us! ❤️

Our Guruwalk Cebu Food Walking Tour with Hazel was a meaningful highlight of our trip. Il tour più originale a cui abbia partecipato! Hazel è stata bravissima fin dal primo momento a farci fare gruppo, si è preoccupata costantemente per noi, spiegandoci tradizioni Filippine, facendoci provare street food che un turista non arriverebbe nemmeno a conoscere. Un pomeriggio fantastico da cui esci arricchito, divertito e con la pancia piena! Il voto 10 è fin troppo poco. Siuuuuu 🫰💯🫶

A very Fun, interactive and informative tour. Hazel the host showed us some local spots which would be near impossible to find without her local expertise, she organised all dishes and activities and transport, making sure the whole tour ran smoothly. Hazel also treated us to a couple dishes in the final stop which was a really nice touch. I would highly recommend booking this tour

This tour was better than expected! Lloyd was a great tour guide, he took us everywhere, spoke great English, and knew his history! He answered every question we had, and elaborated on all topics. We visited historical sites, the market, and had a wonderful jeepney experience! It was the perfect tour that included a little bit of everything, especially if it’s the first time visiting the country. I highly recommend booking a tour with Lloyd if visiting Cebu city!

Hazel did a beautiful job! She showed us around vibrant markets, picked out great food stalls, catered to our every wish and even went out of her way to extend the tour 2 hours longer. Great presentation, great food, incredible kindness by Hazel and every single person we met along the way. 10/10 would go again!

I chose Lloyd’s route on the last day of my Phillippines trip. He explained the history and culture very detailed and informative. I like the story of how the name Philippines came from. And the Puto part of strolling around traditional market. As a foreigner I don’t have chance to go to some hidden gem in the market. And also the Jeepney experience was cool. He showed us how to send money to the conductor and the driver which is cute. I can feel that he’s very passionate and proud of being a Filipino. Thanks Lloyd’s introduction, I get to meet the tradition, the local culture and the food!!
