Our first stop is the Kai Tak Arena, a modern energy hub that opened in 2013. But did you know this land used to be… a car park? Yes! Before the redevelopment, this area was just concrete slabs for airport staff vehicles.

Next up: the Kai Tak Main Stadium, a sleek, futuristic arena that opened in 2019. This stadium sits on land that was once part of the Kai Tak Airport’s taxiway—where planes lined up before takeoff!

Kai Tak Runway Park
From 1925 to 2012, this was Kai Tak Airport, where planes took off so low you could wave at pilots from your balcony (if you dared!). Now, it’s a waterfront park with art, playgrounds, and even a mini-beach!
